Usually I feel a woman in purple stones has overdone it a bit. And indeed, they are often the sort of woman you'd find in furs, shopping the fine departments at Harrods!
So I like the palest one.
Hehe, I picture the women you describe with huge flashy rocks of diamond more than anything! Those rocks are so large they almost look fake.
I don't own a lot of amethyst but I do like the deep, rich purple color. The palest one in this posting is actually a tanzanite, which is very popular right now. You have expensive taste. ;)
Oh you're talking about blinging young women. I'm talking about older ones, from middle age onwards, with spray on tans, perfume you can smell a mile away, and rather large tinted, gold-rimmed glasses. And big purple rings. Hehe. Got it?
I'm afraid I do have expensive taste, sometimes unwittingly so.
